Moje področje delovanja je meteorologija in moj primarni raziskovalni fokus je usmerjen v padavine. Mode dosedanje raziskovalno delo iz področja padavin vključuje detekcijo padavin iz talnih ali satelitskih meritev, napoved padavin z numeričnimi modeli, analizo padavinskih procesov, interpolacijo padavin, razvoj metod za verifikacijo uspešnosti modelskih napovedi padavin ter obravnavo ekstremnih padavinskih dogodkov kot je npr. toča. Raziskovalno se ukvarjam tudi z nekaterimi drugimi temami kot so hladna jezera zraka, tropski cikloni in regionalno klimatsko modeliranje. Raziskovalno sodelujem z inštitucijami kot sta National Centre for Atmospheric Research, ZDA in UK Met Office. Izbrane publikacije:
